Unico Base is provided of 13G Verres needle with blunt retractable tip to achieve safe and efficient access. The luer-lock allows a connection to a double integrated one-way valve which is designed for a safe and quick liquids drainage from the patient to the collection bag. Additional operation or the usual three-way stopcock are no longer required. The product is particularly suitable for emo-pneumothorax, pleural effusion and low viscosity empyema.
