The BabyBed enables easy care of premature and full-term babies in obstetrics and intermediate care (IMC).
The bed was developed in collaboration with doctors and nurses to ensure the best treatment ergonomics.
The electric height adjustment is simple and functional, the side walls can be easily lowered during care rounds or to enable a “side-by-side situation” with the mother’s bed.
The BabyBed is equipped with a removable canopy that significantly reduces the light and noise exposure for the children.
The BabyBed can be equipped with the BW3 warming system and is used in this combination worldwide in neonatal intensive care units, in the IMC area and in obstetrics.
The BabyBed creates the conditions for premature babies to leave the incubator as quickly as possible and for full-term babies to be reliably and easily supplied with warmth thanks to the additionally available BW3 warming system.
In order to promote the early childhood bond between mother and child, skin-to-skin care – the kangaroo method – can be used on all children at a particularly early stage.
