The Resusci Flow™ first aid system is a manual, exclusively gas-operated ventilation system that ensures controlled, safe and consistent respiratory first aid with a stable PEEP in the delivery room.
Without a great deal of technical effort, the child's lungs are safely expanded and constantly supplied with oxygen through a positive inspiratory pressure (PIP).
Uncontrolled airway pressure and the associated risks such as overinflation or oxygen deficiency can thus be effectively excluded.
A constant and precise PEEP, which can be set on the T-piece of the tube system and monitored via the integrated precision manometer, prevents the lung from collapsing during care through controlled inflation of the alveoli.
• The Resusci Flow™ first aid system ensures that a constant pressure is always delivered to the child's lungs, regardless of the user's level of experience or their condition on the day.
• The Resusci Flow™ patient tube system enables precise adjustment of the PEEP on the T-piece – PIP and PEEP can be continuously monitored using the integrated, fast-reacting manometer.
• The Resusci Flow™ first aid system can be used either noninvasively (with a mask) or invasively (directly on the tube connector).
• Also for manual ventilation during transport and to maintain PEEP, e.g. when changing the tube system.
• Compact and lightweight, easy to handle, purely pneumatically operated. High-quality and consistent quality of care.
